Responsibilities

  • Owns and drives and eCommerce P&L focused on improving on side customer experiences, targeted promos,

  • Develops and leverages internal and external partnerships and networks to maximize the achievement of business goals by sponsoring and leading key community outreach and involvement initiatives; engaging key stakeholders in the development, execution, and evaluation of appropriate business plans and initiatives; and supporting associate efforts in these areas
  • Foster and manage relationships with key B2B partners in the region.
  • Use data-driven insights to optimize sales performance and identify growth opportunities.
  • Collaboration with the relevant Business Directors & product house to develop and expedite the delivery of relevant products for customers.
  • Ensure the physical security requirements of PCI compliance are in place in RL eCommerce facilities globally
  • Responsible for defining the business processes of our future Marketplace and their translation for technical teams to build that vision. You will define the technical product strategy and be able to present it to senior executives.
  • Develops strategic roadmaps and recommendations by sourcing, organizing, analyzing, and interpreting data and information; providing insight on current and future business trends; identifies, creates, and communicates trends; developing and implementing scorecards; translating data analysis into recommendations aligned with business objectives.
  • Leads partnerships with key stakeholders across Product, Design, Site Merchandizing and Engineering, developing new innovations and tools for on-site discovery and conversion; leveraging best practices and competitive intelligence; to improve the customer experience.
  • You will be innately curious-before you even consider a solution, you seek to understand and clearly articulate a problem. You will define goals & metrics to understand if your strategy is working & solving customers’ problems. You will lead with a data driven approach.
  • Lead integration projects in conjunction with our external systems integrator consultants and software providers. You own the product roadmap and will clarify project scope, establish timelines, and ensure smooth communication among all stakeholders fostering a culture of urgency and accountability.
  • Develop, advise and consult with store partners on on-line best practices and strategies
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external consultants to articulate software and integration requirements in support of marketplace vision
  • Produce deliverables as necessary in early days including process models for marketplace interactions to include customer interactions, customer use cases relative to nuances of product categories, seller onboarding, order fulfillment by sellers, and post transaction workflows.
  • Translate these needs into detailed technical specifications to guide developers and integrators. You will engage in continuous assessment and planning to ensure that the product is configured and tested to meet stakeholders’ needs, leading to successful stakeholder adoption.
  • Keep current with the latest e-commerce and marketplace developments to enable and extend our vision for marketplace and further the ARRP strategy.
  • Have a User-Centric Approach and advocate for a seamless user experience across all integrations. You will offer counsel to stakeholders from multiple product teams to ensure integration features align with our platform’s usability and design standards.
  • Consider technical options to determine budgeting for technology needs to realize the Marketplace vision and over business objectives for the technology group.
  • Define optimal technological requirements to support a minimal viable product (MVP) for Marketplace that will meet the needs of customers and inform future requirements for our enterprise ecommerce platform.
  • Partnership creation strategy for last mile delivery with logistics organizations

    Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferably in business or IT. A master’s degree will be an added advantage.

    Knowledge and Experience Required

  • 10 years of eCommerce, digital business leadership, management consulting, corporate strategy, and/or related business experience
  • Solid understanding of software development principles and methodologies. You should be able to communicate effectively with technical teams.
  • Strong quantitative background with experience distilling insights from complex data
  • Connects creative out-of-the box thinking to business implications and financial outcomes
  • Ability to create strong working relationships with all levels of the organization, including building relationships and influencing senior management teams
  • Strong executive presence and communication skills with the ability to translate highly complex concepts and communicate them in a concise, digestible manner
  • Familiarity with data handling, transformation, and validation processes. This skill is essential for managing data flows between integrated systems.
  • Experience designing, documenting, and communicating complex business processes that different levels of end-users can comprehend.
  • Experience with the mechanics of online marketplaces, including seller onboarding, order fulfillment, and post-transaction workflows.
  • Big picture but understanding of the value of getting in the weeds-and are comfortable here.
  • Excellent collaboration & relationship building skills with an ability to prioritize, negotiate & coordinate work with a variety of internal & external stakeholders (including external consultants).
