Job Description

To lead and manage the operations of the MLS Operations Team in order to discharge the bank’s mandate in detecting and reporting suspicious and unusual activities, in order for the SBG to meet its reporting obligations, legislative and regulatory requirements and to mitigate AML/CFT risks.

This is essential in order to assure that the entire Group is conducting business in a compliant manner to avoid operational losses, fines, penalties or reputational damage to the organisation.

Qualifications

Degree in Risk Management or related

ACAMS Certification or CISA membership would be advantageous

Experience Required

Group Anti Financial Crime

Compliance

5-7 years experience in Analytics, Fraud, Money Laundering and Combatting Financing of Terrorism Surveillance.

5-7 years – Strategy operationalisation-, risk mgmt-, regulatory reporting-, managing large operational teams-, analysis of indicators & trends-, all related to AML/CFT. Banking processes, systems & data.

Dealing with stakeholders at different levels, internal and external including regulatory bodies i.e. FIC
