Public Sector Superannuation Scheme Principal Scheme Officer(Benefits Administration) Jobs in Kenya
Job description
Duties and responsibilities will entail assisting in
Initiating, developing, implementing and reviewing Scheme Administration Policies, regulations, strategies, guidelines and programmes on Benefits;
Verifying legitimate retiree, beneficiary and dependant (s);
Verifying computation of benefits;
Processing payments of benefits to the retiree, beneficiary and/or dependants;
Developing and reviewing mechanism to facilitate members access statement of their retirement savings accounts; and providing guidance to members in interpreting their benefit options and premiums for regular payments.
Requirement for appointment
For appointment to this grade a candidate must have: –
A minimum period of eight (8) years in relevant work experience and at least three (3) years in supervisory role in a position in the Public Service or Private Sector;
Bachelor’s Degree in any of the following fields: Human Resources Management, Commerce, Actuarial Sciences, Economics, Insurance, Business Administration, Procurement, Education, Public Administration or any other equivalent qualification from a recognized institution;
Master’s Degree in any of the following disciplines: – Human Resources Management, Commerce, Actuarial Sciences, Economics, Insurance, Business Administration, Procurement, Education, Public Administration or any other equivalent qualification from a recognized institution Management course lasting not less than four (4) weeks from a recognized institution;
Membership to a professional body and in good standing, where applicable.
Proficiency in computer applications;
Good Communication skills;
Demonstrated results in work performance; and
Fulfilled the requirements of Chapter Six of the constitution.
