Our client, a prominent fish platform in East Africa with operations situated on the Kenyan side of Lake Victoria and extending into Lake Kivu, Rwanda, is seeking to hire a Systems & Apps Developer (located mainly in Nairobi with up to 25% travel across our sites in Kisumu, HomaBay and others as they grow).
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and customize ERP Next modules, forms, and workflows to meet business requirements.
Integrate ERP Next with other systems, databases, and APIs.
Monitor ERP Next performance, conduct regular maintenance, and provide technical support.
Document technical specifications and train end-users on ERP Next functionality.
Stay updated on the latest trends in ERP Next and related technologies for continuous improvement.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
2+ years’ experience in ERP Next development and customization.
Strong proficiency in Python, JavaScript, and Frappe framework.
In-depth knowledge of ERP Next modules, workflows, and architecture.
Experience with integration of ERP Next with other systems, databases, and APIs.
Familiarity with database management systems (MySQL, PostgreSQL).
Understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, REST APIs).
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
Experience with Agile development methodologies is a plus.
