Our client, a consulting firm dedicated to promoting economic prosperity for businesses, is currently seeking a Monitoring and Evaluation Officer. The selected candidate will be responsible for leading project monitoring activities and supporting efforts to advance gender equality and female empowerment.

The ideal candidate Must have a minimum of 2 years’ experience working on gender projects and possess a Bachelor’s degree in Social Science, Economics, Development Studies or any other related field.

Key Responsibilities:

Advise on gender-sensitive indicators within the performance measurement framework and support colleagues in monitoring and reporting program results, outputs, and objectives against agreed indicators.

Provide technical assistance to partners in assessing their approach to gender mainstreaming throughout the program cycle.

Monitor and report on the implementation of the gender action plan.

Develop a robust Monitoring and Evaluation system to capture the project’s impact across various interventions.

Facilitate the implementation of the project’s M&E system, ensuring efficient information flow, synergy and partnerships.

Generate proposal and concept notes for monitoring, evaluation and research activities.

Create and implement quantitative and qualitative data collection tools for timely reporting.

Qualifications:

Must have a relevant bachelor’s degree in Social Science, Economics, Development Studies or any other related field.

Must have 2 years and above working experience working on gender issues.

Must have experience with using data collection and analysis software.

Strong quantitative, qualitative and analytical research skills.

Strong interpersonal and communications skills required.
