Our client, a consulting firm dedicated to promoting economic prosperity for businesses, is currently seeking a Junior Finance Officer. The successful candidate will be responsible for reconciliation, managing cashflows, financial reporting, statutory deductions and offering support to clients. The ideal candidate Must have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in accounting preferably using Zoho or QuickBooks.

Key Responsibilities:

Assisting in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual account reconciliations.

Supporting the creation of strategic business plans based on financial analysis and forecasts.

Preparation and presentation of the monthly management accounts and reports, including reviewing and analyzing them.

Assisting in the preparation of monthly cash flow projections and quarterly organizational forecasts.

Ensuring compliance with relevant statutory deductions.

Assisting in financial audits by providing necessary documentation and addressing audit findings.

Providing ad hoc support, training and advisory services to clients on finance, audit and tax matters.

Assisting in financial analysis and modeling.

Qualifications:

Must have a relevant bachelor’s in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or any other related field.

Must have 2 years and above working experience.

A solid understanding of financial statistics and accounting principles

Strong interpersonal and communications skills required.
