Machakos County Physical Planning Assistant I Jobs in Kenya
Duties and responsibilities
Drawing digitizing local county physical development plans
Collecting and analysing geographical data for plan preparation
Vetting and verifying physical development plans
Inspecting sites
Identifying site characteristics and establishing site suitability or proposed development
Cataloguing and maintaining plan records
Converting analogue data to digital format using geographical system
Requirements for Appointment
For appointment to this grade, an officer must have: –
A minimum experience of six (6) years in this field.
Diploma in any of the following areas Urban and Regional planning, urban planning, Building, Civil Engineering, Cartography, Geo-informatics Geographic information systems (GIS) from a recognized Institution
Associate membership of Kenya Institute of planners or Architectural Association of Kenya (Town planning chapter)
Have certificate in computer from a recognized institution
