Job Purpose
Support the Category Manager in achieving the set objectives by providing relevant reports on stock, sales, forecasts, and investments for assigned portfolio. Should assist in the implementation of brand plans to achieve annual budgets.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
Reporting
Prepare, coordinate and present business information during reviews with all internal & external stakeholders.
Prepare and share reports with the Category Manager on a regular basis or as per deadline set
Analyse data concerning the assigned portfolio and monitor sales, A&P and GP budget
Marketing
Follow up with supply chain team to ensure availability of products for marketing activities as per planned in brand plan and monitor the balance between forecasts and actual sales to reach targeted profit margins.
Plan, organize and coordinate with salesforce to carry out promotional activities including CMEs for HCP’s.
Assist in creation and development of long-term plans and strategy for the success of assigned portfolio and lead the implementation of these plans.
Work Relations
Work in collaboration with the salesforce to gather market and competitor data for better understanding of the competitive environment and implementation of strategies such as new pricing and counter action plans.
Service Excellence
Attend to specific needs of customers (internal & external) as well as third parties and ensure that queries and assistance are provided in a timely manner and in compliance with service standards set.
Ensure that the service level provided is up to expectations and standards set and relay any matter impeding service level to Management.
Engage and collaborate with Management on Service Excellence initiatives.
Develop and maintain cordial relationship with assigned suppliers, customers and all relevant stakeholders and work in collaboration to ensure implementation of strategies and action plans.
Work with team leaders to ensure that documentation for tenders & formulary listings are filled and submitted.
Qualifications, Skills and other prerequisites
Qualifications
Graduate level of education – MBA preferred.
Experience
Proven experience in pharmaceuticals will be an advantage
Technical Knowledge & Skills
Analysis and strategic thinking with excellent reporting & presentation skills
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Results oriented with ability to meet tight deadlines
Can easily adapt to changes
Creative thinking – ability to ideate new animations, promotions.
Ability to handle fast-paced environment and to multi-task.
Special Requirement
Hands on experienced in the use of MS office & outlook
