Uasin Gishu County Registered Clinical Officer Jobs in Kenya
Requirements for Appointment: –
Diploma in Clinical Medicine and Surgery or its equivalent qualification from a recognized institution;
Possess a current valid practicing certificate;
Membership of a relevant professional body;
Proficiency in computer applications; and
Shown merit and ability as reflected in work performance and results.
Duties and responsibilities: –
Carry out history taking, examine, diagnose, treat, manage diseases and conditions on outpatient and outpatients in Health Facilities;
Sensitize patients and clients on preventive and promotive health;
Carry out surgical procedures as per training and skills;
Guide and counsel patients, clients and staff on health issues;
Asses, prepare and present medico- Legal reports;
Collect and compile clinical data and submit report are required;
Plan and conduct Community Health Care activities;
Coach and mentor students attached to hospitals and health Centres; and
Supervise and counsel staff engaged in routine Patients’ care and give support and health education to patients.
