Requirements For appointment:-
A Diploma in Civil Engineering or its equivalent from a recognized institution;
Possess a current valid practicing certificate;
Membership to a relevant professional body
Duties and Responsibilities: –
Undertake site investigation, prepare civil structural drawings, design specification of buildings, roads, foot bridges and river protection works;
Assisting in collecting data on road inventory;
Prepare and maintain site records and other road work records and submit weekly and monthly reports;
Undertake supervision of works in progress;
Ensure specification and standards are adhered to during construction
Prepare cost estimates and schedule of materials for simple road constructions on labour contracts; and
Prepare tender documents for civil works, supervision of construction of buildings, foot bridges and river protection works.
