Job Description
• Implements and ensures compliance with Company HR policies and processes in the location.
• Prepares and maintains HR reporting metrics; and status reporting in conjunction with the Regional HR Head and Corporate HR.
• Ensures compliance with HR processes and procedures at all respective locations.
• Drives recruitment and hiring initiatives in a timely manner to ensure adequate manpower resourcing in line with headcount plans.
• Coordinates implementation of Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives in conjunction with the location team.
• Participates in implementation and action planning on Employee Satisfaction Surveys.
• Ensures accurate processing of monthly payroll and submissions of relevant statutory returns.
• Ensures timely monthly coordination of employee engagement activities for respective location.
• Oversees and ensure employee grievances and disciplinary matters are handled in line with Company policies, country legislations and best practice.
• Coordinates the timely administration of performance management in conjunction with the stakeholders.
Candidate Specification
Experience
• 7 years plus
Education Level
• Degree
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or equivalent course. Master’s degree preferred.
Software
• Proficient in MS word, Excel and Power point.
Equipment
• Office
Knowledge Of
• Labour laws for Uganda
Skills To
• Ensure implementation of HR processes and procedures
Ability To
• Prepare process documents; communicating, monitoring and reporting on HR initiatives
