Senwes Manager: Training Jobs in South Africa
What you’ll need:
4 to 5 years management experience in a HR / Training environment.
Relevant HR Qualification with Training and Development experience.
What you’ll be doing:
Design, develop, and deliver comprehensive and effective training programs
Design a range of learning interventions, including technical, behavioural and leadership programmes.
Work with stakeholders to understand key business drivers, identify performance gaps and develop effective trainings to build all skill levels.
Implement department-specific and group-wide training and development interventions.
Manage and coordinate reporting and special reporting for BEE audits, statutory training and executive, Management and Leadership Development Programmes (internal and external institutions).
Evaluate programme effectiveness and impact through employee and line manager feedback.
Provide reports on the status of training completions, effectiveness, and other operational metrics.
Acquire training procedure manuals, guides, and course materials to expand internal E-learning content.
Drive a culture of continuous professional development.
Maintain knowledge of the latest trends in training and development, as well as agriculture industry.
Adhere to industry best practices and standards when developing learning and performance solutions.
Training strategies and policies
Update and implement the training strategy and ensuring it is in line with the HR departmental strategy.
Ensure the training strategy is aligned to the legal requirements.
Responsible for drafting and updating all training policies and procedures.
Training operations
Prepare training budgets for the entire Senwes group.
Implement and maintain processes and strategies to effectively identify and address skills needs at all levels.
Ensure that learning interventions are aligned with National best practise and where applicable comply with NQF practices and requirements.
Source appropriate external providers to address specific training needs.
Technology systems and platforms
Responsible for implementing the training systems in the organisation to enable more efficient and integrated management of data.
Design and create innovative continuous improvement initiatives for all systems and processes to enable scalable, integrated management of data.
Manage the relationships with relevant service providers where necessary (LMS) and ensure SLA is updated annually.
Reporting and analytics
Oversee capturing of all training information on HR database and extraction of training reports for monthly and annual purposes.
Integrate training data with general HR statistics and skills levy data to prepare training dashboard statistics per company for reporting.
Oversee preparation and extraction of training statistics for specialised reports.
Responsible for predictive analytics to provide business with insight into people data that enable better decision making by optimising the integration of data in all systems in the department.
Annual training and development reporting WSP/ATR as well as all grant applications.
Employee management
Delegate responsibilities and duties.
Manage performance of employees.
Provide in-house training and guidance and support to employees.
Motivate employees and provide constructive feedback on performance.
Develop and manage succession plan/ personal development plan of employees.
