3-5 years Mechanisation Equipment Marketing experience
National Senior Certificate
Experience on SAP
Skills / Competencies:
Strong communication skills to interact with customers and team members.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Strong negotiating and interpersonal skills
Responsibilities:
Financial Management & Administration
Compile and manage budget annually
Execution of planned marketing and sales
To optimize existing market share and develop new markets, through effective marketing and sales of agricultural equipment
Compile and manage sales budget
Develop and execute marketing plan components
Maintain existing and expand new markets
Farmers’days, Customer clinics, Demonstrations, Visits – Individual or grouped customers, Advertising and merchandising
Evaluate and resell second hand trade-ins (market value)
Attend formal integrated meetings/sessions
Conduct Customer Service
Obtain customer intelligence
Update customer data base – Profile system
Perform after sales service and after sale contact
Conduct customer clinics
Handle and deal with customer queries, ‘dealer at risk’ feedback
Do merchandising as required
Improve customer CSI, response rate as prescribed
Conduct information days and presentations
Conform to customer needs/requirements
Ensure delivery of products according to prescribed principles
Stock Forecasting
Conduct stock forecasting per branch:
Supply chain logistics
Relevant market information
Manage new and second hand stock logistics per branch
Conduct monthly stock counts
Manage goods received – quality of stock on hand, shortages and damages and arrange internal transfers
