AAA Growers Crop Protection Manager – Chui Farm Jobs in Kenya
Job Objective
AAA Roses is the flower division within AAA Growers. At AAA Roses, we produce high quality rose stems for export. We supply a wide assortment of Roses all over the world everyday fresh. Quality is our key deliverable, and a happy customer is our main goal at AAA Roses.
As a Crop Protection Manager, you are responsible for the overall crop protection activities in the
farm. This means ensuring all crop protection activities are executed seamlessly. We also expect
you to deal with hiccups that may threaten your execution in liaison with the management. Greatness, Responsibility, Openness and Warmth are the values you live and work by.
Your Tasks and Responsibilities
Preparing Chemical orders in accordance with the approved chemical budget.
Ensure and oversee periodic inspection of spray equipment to ensure proper functioning.
Oversee daily crop protection activities across the farm.
Performs proactive crop protection analysis and evaluation on a regular basis. Evaluate current growing practices and make recommendations based on the results of the evaluation for maximum production
Ensure hiccups are dealt with pro-actively. In case there are issues affecting your crop protection activities you are supposed to find out the root cause of the issue and pro-actively deal with it.
Maintain budgets and optimize expenses, make sure we stay within the budgets that have been agreed on.
Set policies and processes, ensure all processes are captured in policies and processes for all employees to access. Ensure crop protection procedures and policies are updated according to new developments.
Provide appropriate training and education on the safe use and operation of equipment and spraying techniques.
Ensure employees work productively and develop professionally. Employees are, our biggest

Your Profile
Graduate in Horticulture, Floriculture or Agriculture
5 -7years’ experience in a Flower Industry preferably Roses Production.
3 years’ experience in a similar or related position
Excellent leadership skills and management skills
Analytical mindset, excellent interpersonal and communication skills and team player facilitating cross-functional collaboration.
Good command of the English language, both verbal and written.
Proficient computer skills in MS Office applications, particularly with Excel
