Fully Funded International Scholarships in Australia 2024/2025 – Adelaide University
The University of Adelaide is offering fully funded international scholarships in Australia through Adelaide Scholarships International (ASI) for the next academic year.
Scholarship Information:
The Adelaide International Scholarship (ASI) aimed aims at giving an opportunity to quality international postgraduate students to pursue research at University of Adelaide in Australia.
The students are expected to strongly contribute and strengthen the research at the University during their period of study.
Adelaide University was established in 1874 and is ranked among the top 1% of universities in the world.
The university is also part of the Group of Eight making it one of Australia’s leading research universities.
Eligible students can apply for any Master’s degree by Research or Doctoral Research Degree offered at the University.
Scholarship Package:
The scholarship will cover;
Full tuition fees for the program of study
Living allowance (up to about $26,288 yearly) and
Student health cover (Which is only for those who hold a subclass 500 visa)
The scholarship for the masters’ degree by research is awarded for 2 years whereas the Doctoral research degree is awarded for 3 years.
Extension is only applicable to doctoral programs.
Eligibility Criteria:
Applicants must fulfill the following criteria;
Have a bachelors’ degree which at least the equivalent of an Australian 1st Class
Applicants who are living in Australia and have submitted their application for Australian permanent resident status are eligible to apply for Australia International Scholarships.
The scholarships is for all international students except New Zealand citizens
Applicants must not have completed a research qualification regarded equivalent to the research program they intend to enroll for.
If you applied during an international scholarship round and you were unsuccessful, you will automatically be reconsidered in the following international scholarship round as long as you have a valid offer of admission by that time.
Have proof of English language proficiency (IELTs)
Scholarships are awarded on the basis of academic merit and research potential.
Be aware that extracurricular achievements are not considered.
Candidates who hold a Masters degree, have research experience, professional work experience and have published research papers generally succeed in winning the scholarship.

Applicants must complete and submit their application for admission and scholarship through the application portal system https://www.adelaide.edu.au/graduatecentre/admission/.
Your are advised to submit your application and all required documents before the stipulated deadline so that the University of Adelaide can assess your application and eligibility for the scholarship.
