A Tea Manufacturing Company – Senior Accountant Jobs in Kenya
A Tea manufacturing Company in Kenya is seeking to employ a Senior Accountant whose duties and responsibilities will be as follows:-
Allocate and post all the invoices, prepare and post journal entries, print and recheck QuickBooks bank reconciliations.
Post transactions to Quickbooks, and Prepare bank reconciliations
On-line submission of NSSF, NHIF, PAYE, Housing Levy & NITA Levies,
Prepare and follow-up on Tea Brokers outstanding amounts.
Reconcile produced Tea with sold and closing stocks both at the Factory or the Warehouse.
Post the auction account sales & Determine exchange gain/loss
Post Made Tea issues for ex-Factory and ex-Packaging.
Ensure that the LPO/Delivery Note/GRN and Invoices are checked for consistency
Supervise stock take and Attend to Farmers and Suppliers Financial issues
Coordinate work schedules for the junior staff under you.
Preparation of fixed asset schedules and depreciating the same accordingly.
Ensure the daily, weekly or monthly reports are within deadlines
Any other relevant duties as assigned.
Qualifications Required:
Bachelor’s degree in Commerce or Business Administration (Accounting option)
Master’s Degree in accounting field will be an added advantage.
CPA (K)or ACCA
5 years of experience in a similar management position (Preferably in a manufacturing Company)
Good understanding of sales and marketing
Proficiency in QuickBooks.
