Boardroom Appointments Application Support Engineer (DevOps) Jobs in South Africa
Minimum Requirements:
2+ years application and platform support experience in an IT environment
BTech Degree – advantageous
National Diploma: Information Technology (Required)
Responsibilities:
Application and platform support in a DevOps environment
Provide end to end support for client application and website, including DXL and cloud platform support
Monitoring of alerts and dashboards to proactively respond to any incidents or outages
Provide 2nd and 3rd level investigations to all incidents logged to the team
Incident and change management using Jira and Remedy
Knowledge of monitoring and alerting tools like Kibana, Prometheus, OpsGenie
Linux OS knowledge
Able to perform basic database queries
AWS, Docker and Kubernetes knowledge advantageous
Ability to work in a high-pressure environment
Good communications skills
