Job Description

An exciting opportunity exists for a SALES OPERATIONS MANAGER at AVI INTERNATIONAL, Gaborone, Botswana. The Sales Operations Manager will be responsible for managing the day to day operations of the sales team with a focus on managing and improving performance related to sales and quality.

The successful candidate will also be responsible for managing all aspects of their department including, but not limited to leading our innovative and growing operations team.

Minimum Requirements:

Experience:

At least 8 years of sales experience within the FMCG Industry

Minimum of 3 years at management level within sales

Qualifications:

Grade 12

Relevant Commercial Diploma or Degree in Sales and Marketing

Post-graduate business qualification will be highly advantageous

Additional Requirements:

Valid Driver’s License

Able to travel for work

Previous working experience in:

5Ps (Product, Price, Promotion, Place and People)

Tactical Sales Planning

Retail and wholesale markets

Channel, shopper and customer

Trade negotiations

Budget management

Sales, systems and procedures

Resource Planning

MS PowerPoint and Excel
