National Environment Management Authority Environment Inspector (Waste Management) Jobs in Uganda
Main Purpose of the Job:
To assist in Environment Inspections, Monitoring and Audits
Duties and Responsibilities
Assist Senior Environment Inspecter to:
Develop and implement division Work Plans, Budgets and prepare timelyreporting
Develop and implement Plans and Strategies for effective environment inspections,monitoring and audits to support enforcement of laws, standards andconditionsofapproval of developments
Conduct Environment Inspections, Monitoring and Audits and ensureremedialactions are taken
Facilitate identification, appointment, gazettement, capacity developmentandsupervision of Environment Inspectors
Provide technical support to law enforcement operations, complianceandprosecution
Supervise and appraise staff
Monitor and ensure that staff comply with Policies, laws and best environmentpractices
Mobilise Resources for Environment Inspections, Monitoring and Audits
Perform any other duties as may be assigned by the Supervisor
