Uganda Cancer Institute Security Guard Jobs
Job Purpose:
To support in protecting the Institute’s property, employees, visitors and patients in a safe and problem-free environment
Qualification:
Ordinary level Certificate of Education
Experience as a Security Guard is an added advantage
Key competencies required for the post:
Understanding of self-defense techniques
Having a clean criminal background
Some knowledge of security procedures and surveillance equipment
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Excellent surveillance skills
Ability to work independently and for long hours
Ability to offer excellent customer service
Duties & Responsibilities:
Patrolling buildings, premises entrances, and other facilities
Entering the name and contact details of vehicles and people before entering the premises
Identifying and reporting any suspicious activities to the management or building committee
Ensuring that all exits and entrances are secured properly
Answering any emergencies calls and complaints
Maintaining and updating the report of daily surveillance activities
Support in monitoring the surveillance cameras
Responding to any alarms on time
Ensuring no damage to hospital and staff property
