Uganda Cancer Institute Clinical Officer Jobs
Job Purpose:
To diagnose, treat, and manage patients in the hospital and community.
Qualification:
A Diploma in Clinical Medicine and Community Health or its equivalent from a recognized Institution.
Registered with the Allied Health Professionals Council.
Key competencies required for the post
Competencies in Planning, Organizing and Coordinating; Coaching and Mentoring, Accountability; Communicating effectively; Concern for quality and standards; Results-oriented and Networking, Concern for Quality and Standards
Duties & Responsibilities:
Implementing Community Health Care activities
Managing and accounting for allocated resources.
Supervising and coordinating Clinical services in the hospital.
Requisitioning for equipment and other supplies.
Ensuring that equipment is functional and well maintained.
Initiating and participating in research activities.
Imparting knowledge and skills to students and staff.
Ensuring that staff adhere to Professional Code of Conduct and Ethics.
To assist in the Home care service for Cancer patients.
Any other duties assigned by supervisor
