Anti-Doping Agency of Kenya Supply Chain Management Officer Jobs
Duties and Responsibilities
Duties and responsibilities will entail:-
Prepare and issuing of standard tender documents;
Participate in tender and quotation opening and evaluation;
Initiate documentation for payment of suppliers for the goods/services rendered;
Prepare and maintain lists of registered suppliers;
Generate the Local Purchase Orders (LPOs) /Local Service Orders (LSOs);
Assist in the preparation of Supply Chain Management statutory reports;
Carry out Market Surveys and prepare report with recommendations;
Daily reconciliation of stock records and routine entries;
Carry out periodic and annual stock taking and prepare reports for statutory submissions;
Undertake inspections and acceptance for goods and services received and prepare a report;
Issue of assets and inventory to user department and maintaining and updating the registers and records;
Liaise with user department to identify obsolete and unserviceable items for disposal; and
Ensure stores are clean, secure and well organized.
Requirements for Appointment
For appointment to this grade, an officer must have: –
A Bachelor’s Degree in any of the following disciplines: – Procurement and Supply Chain Management, Purchasing and Supplies Management, Supply Chain Management, Procurement and Contract Management, Logistics and Supply Chain Management;
Membership to the Kenya Institute of Supplies Management (KISM);
Valid practicing license from a recognized body;
At least 3 years working experience in Supply Chain Management; and
Proficiency in use of Computer Applications.
