Duties and Responsibilities
Duties and responsibilities will be to:-
Develop comprehensive corporate communications programs;
Prepare programs budgets and ensuring implementation of the functions;
Prepare press materials for press release and publication;
Maintain a database for press and other organizations contacts;
Develop and publishing in-house newsletters;
Draft publications on topical research issues;
Prepare speeches and reports;
Write, compiling and sub-editing the Agency in-house publications;
Coordinate the Agency’s advertising and publicity;
Liaise with the public and media on all matters of concern to the Agency; and
Keep and main corporate communications records.
Requirements for appointment
For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have:-
A Degree in any of the following disciplines: – Journalism, Mass Communications, Public Relations, Communication and Media or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution;
Evidence of portfolio will be an added advantage;
At least five years’ working experience in a related field; and
Proficiency in use of computer applications.
