The Role
As a Field Sales Team Lead for Ilara Health, you will be responsible for setting goals, devising sales strategies, evaluating sales team performance, assigning tasks, and providing support and corrective measures should there be any concerns. The teams performance is target based and we have a zero tolerance policy for underperformance – there is no grey area in our sales team, individuals are expected to meet or exceed targets.
It will be your responsibility to monitor, manage, coach and keep each individual on your team accountable for what they need to achieve on a daily, weekly and monthly basis. You must be a supportive accountability partner and constant coach for each individual on your team.
Responsibilities
Assist the HOD in sales strategy
Daily performance tracking for the team through pipeline management and Sales forecasting
Ensure the team achieves set targets
Work closely with the HOD to develop and implement the sales strategy , developing sales plans to grow the customer base.
Support in Recruitment, training and day to day coaching of the Sales team
Spend time coaching your team and giving them live feedback on their pitch and ensuring they are working their territory efficiently.
Ensure continuous training, re-training and performance evaluations for your team.
Drive and champion team engagement and adherence to the company values.
Drive team productivity and the Field Sales strategy
Ensure individual daily team activities/KPIs are met and entered correctly into the CRM
Monthly performance management for the team
Work with the HOD to set team Targets and support the team in achievement of the set targets
Set daily, weekly and monthly targets for the team, motivating and encouraging them to reach their targets.
Prepare Sales Reports
Daily/ weekly reporting on performance, projections and individual team performance as required.
Keep informed of new services and products, and the market competition.
Have a working knowledge of the Industrys climate and competition to effectively implement the sales strategy.
Other duties as assigned by the HOD.
Requirements
Bachelors degree in Business related courses
Previous experience leading a sales team is a MUST have.
Successful track record in field sales – B2B is advantageous
3+ years experience in sales management – B2B is advantageous
Successful track record in sales training/ coaching
Sense of urgency and accountability
