U.S. Embassy in Ethiopia Supervisory Realty/Leasing Assistant Jobs
Duties
Under direct supervision of the Housing Coordinator, the incumbent shall identify potential residences for lease for the Embassy through contacts, real estate brokers and advertisements. Prepare annual lease budget for State and State ICASS in coordination with Finance section Prepare leases and draft waiver requests as necessary.
Ensure that status of all lease files and RPA are maintained, and work with Financial Management Office in planning quarterly leasehold funding requirements. Serve as backup to the Housing Coordinator in his/her absence. Serve as COR on residential gardening contractor.
The incumbent is responsible for supervising five realty clerks. Incumbent serves as an incidental operator of official vehicles and meets all requirements outlined in 14 FAM 433.
Qualifications and Evaluations
Experience:- Minimum of three years’ experience in Office Management or administrative work is required. Six months of this experience must be in realty management. At least one (1) year supervisory experience in managing people, writing and reviewing performance appraisals is also required.
