In 2024, this cultural exchange program will bring together 111 young women from 37 countries, joined by more than 13 U.S. peers, for a transformative four-week journey in the United States. This experience is complemented by seven months of mentorship, building on the program’s legacy since its inception in 2012, which has positively impacted 653 young girls worldwide.
A Multi-Faceted Experience
TechGirls participants dive into a comprehensive program that includes interactive technology and computer camps, job shadowing at leading tech companies, homestays with American families, and community service experiences. However, the impact of this program doesn’t end with the exchange. After returning to their home countries, participants are expected to work on community-based projects under the guidance of dedicated mentors.
This exchange program is envisioned to bring about lasting change by creating networks of empowered young women who can adapt to the competitive requirements of the global tech landscape.
