Job Description:
Plansuite Consolidate, an innovative Industrial grade Information Technology Agency, is seeking a dedicated Administrative Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our office, handling bookkeeping, tax filing, shop management, cash management, and staff payroll processing. Key Responsibilities:
Office Administration:
• Manage day-to-day office operations, including maintaining supplies, equipment, and organization.
• Handle correspondence, scheduling, and support to optimize office efficiency.
Bookkeeping:
• Maintain accurate financial records, including income, expenses, and receipts.
• Reconcile financial transactions and prepare financial reports for management.
Tax Filing:
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations by preparing and filing tax returns in a timely manner.
• Stay updated on tax laws and assist in tax planning.
Shop Management:
• Oversee inventory, procurement, and vendor relationships.
• Ensure the shop is well-maintained and presents a welcoming environment for customers.
Cash Management:
• Handle cash transactions, including deposits and withdrawals.
• Monitor cash flow and report on any discrepancies or irregularities.
Staff Payroll Processing:
• Administer payroll, including calculating hours, preparing pay checks, and processing employee benefits.
• Maintain accurate employee records and address payroll-related inquiries.
Qualifications:
•
Proven experience in administrative roles, preferably in an ICT environment.
• Proficiency in office software and bookkeeping tools (e.g., Microsoft Office, QuickBooks, etc.).
• Knowledge of tax regulations and experience with tax filing procedures of Uganda Revenue Authority.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
