Job Description

Is responsible for ensuring the integrity of the accounting generated across specified trading systems on a daily basis (ACBS, Murex MM and Murex Core ) this includes recon platforms Oracle and Bank Analyser. Is responsible for resolution and highlighting risks and issues to managers and key stakeholders. Responsible for supporting end users by highlighting reconciliation issues and keeping them abreast of daily outputs and assisting with resolution by being subject matter expert.

Analysing and Documenting business requirements on behalf of Product control for new products or enhancements and providing oversight with implementation of changes by various work streams.

Qualifications

Honours degree in Accounting or equivalent financial qualification

IT qualification / knowledge advantageous but not essential

Experience Required

5 -7 years experience of operating as the interface and accounting support between Finance & IT on Global systems with:

Excellent banking knowledge with preference to candidates with prior exposure to Investment Banking and Derivative products.

Strong understanding of accounting principles relating to products traded.

Excellent data interrogation techniques.

Solid understanding of broad Finance environment through to GL.

Solid understanding of integration techniques.

Wide based trading and finance systems knowledge.

Implementation and configuration of solutions including as-is and future state analysis.
