Brief description of WFP in Uganda WFP delivers food assistance in emergencies and work with communities to improve nutrition and build resilience. WFP provides life-saving food assistance and livelihood opportunities to over 1,200,000 refugees in Uganda.
WFP intends to build a pool of Enumerators/ Data collection with the right skillset that will be called upon as and when need for data collection arises for short assignment ranging from a few days to a couple of weeks. The data collectors will be responsible for conducting one on one physical interviews with mostly Refugee households in the settlement and nearby host communities.
The enumerators will not be WFP staff but will be paid per day worked. The Enumerator will be supervised by a designated WFP Staff.
Organizational Context
Enumerator role is found in the Field Office. The role holders typically provide data collection services , and report to a designated WFP staff.
Job Purpose
To conduct one on one physical interviews with mostly Refugee households in the settlement and nearby host communities
