Purpose of Role:
Keep stock of inventory and manage all operations in the store.
Accountabilities
Stores Transaction in SAGE X3
To ensure that end to end transactions are done in Sage X3 for items that are being received/issued.
To ensure that all transactions that have been done off the system with Management approval have been captured in the system at the earliest possible opportunity.
To issue system generated LPOs to suppliers on monthly basis once the supplier has completed stock take for the month for consignment stock
Stock Keeping & Material Ordering
To correctly capture stock receipts/issues and carry out reconciliation of stocks immediately where the stocks do not tally.
To do replenishment calls to the suppliers/raise PRs on time once a product has reached its re1order level bearing in mind a supplier’s delivery lead time for the items
Monitor stocks in the respective store to ensure Nil stock outs.
To ensure that bin cards are updated accordingly when suppliers make replenishment, when consumption of stock takes place, when there are withdrawals of stock from the suppliers as well as when there is stock take.
To ensure that correct quantities of stock requested are well packaged before loading for dispatch into the units.
To ensure orderly arrangement of stocks in their shelves and proper labeling of the shelve per supplier/Item.
Stock take
To take part in stock takes with suppliers and other internal stakeholders.
To ensure that suppliers come to carry out the monthly stock take without fail where applicable.
Customer Service
To respond to supplier/end user queries on time with regards to stocks.
To support procurement team with order, follow up to ensure timely delivery of ordered material.
Qualifications & Experience, Skills Required
At least Advanced Diploma in Management, Computer Science or related field or its equivalent from a recognized institution.
1-2 years’ experience in a stores Management Role
Must have good communication and interpersonal skills.
