Mbarara University of Science and Technology Stenographer Secretary Jobs in Uganda
Qualifications and Experience
A good Diploma in Secretarial Studies from a recognized institution with the following subjects:
Business Communication Stage Ill.
Typewriting Stage Ill (50 wpm).
Short hand stage Il (80/90 wpm).
Office Management
Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education (A Level) with at least one principal pass.
Must be computer literate and competent in using several packages like spreadsheets and database management.
Knowledge of using various office machines such as photocopiers, scanners and audio-visual equipment
Working experience of at least three years shall be an added advantage.
Should be below 50 years of age at the time of application.
Duties And Responsibilities
Taking and transcribing dictation and producing error free work2.
Receiving and disseminating correspondences, mails and other information for the office.
Organizing meetings, taking minutes and circulating decisions to relevant action offices.
Creating files and filing documents appropriately.
Receiving and guiding clients to relevant offices.
Setting up and following up appointments.
Maintaining Office cleanliness and orderliness.
Managing and accounting for office equipment, materials and imprest.
Supervising support staff.
Performing any other duties that may be assigned from time to time.
