Job Purpose / Objective:
Provide essential information for project planning, design, and execution to enable the project team to make informed decisions and execute road construction projects with precision.
Responsible to conduct accurate and detailed surveys of construction sites, collect data, and create precise measurements and maps.
Contributes to the successful completion of projects by providing essential geospatial information.
Job Roles and Responsibilities:
• Site Surveying: Conduct topographic, boundary, and construction surveys of project sites.
• Data Collection: Gather accurate data using surveying instruments and equipment.
• Measurement and Mapping: Create detailed measurements, drawings, and maps of the surveyed areas.
• GPS Technology: Utilize GPS and surveying software for precise location data.
• Marking and Staking: Place markers and stakes to indicate reference points and measurements.
• Survey Data Analysis: Analyze collected data to ensure accuracy and consistency.
• Coordination: Collaborate with engineers, designers, and project managers to provide survey data for project planning.
• Quality Control: Ensure that survey results meet established quality standards.
• Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and regulations during surveying activities.
• Reporting: Provide accurate and detailed survey reports to the project team.
• Equipment Maintenance: Maintain and calibrate surveying instruments and equipment.
• Collaboration: Coordinate with construction teams to communicate test results and provide recommendations.
• Performs any other duty as assigned by the supervisor from time to time.

• Accuracy of Surveys: Ensuring precision and accuracy in survey measurements and data.
• Data Collection Efficiency: Efficient collection of geospatial data using surveying equipment.
• Quality of Mapping: Creating detailed and accurate maps and drawings.
• Safety Record: Maintaining a
safe work environment during surveying activities.
• Timely Reporting: Providing survey reports in a timely manner to support project planning.
• Coordination with Team: Effective collaboration with project team members.
Work Experience, Skills and Knowledge:
• Surveying Expertise: Strong knowledge of surveying methods, techniques, and equipment.
• Geospatial Data Analysis: Proficiency in analyzing and interpreting survey data.
• Technical Proficiency: Skill in using surveying instruments, GPS technology, and mapping software.
• Attention to Detail: Ensuring accuracy and precision in measurements and data collection.
• Communication Skills: Clear and effective communication with team members and stakeholders.
• Problem-Solving: Addressing challenges related to surveying and data collection.
• Safety Focus: Prioritizing safety during surveying activities.
• Coordination Skills: Effective collaboration with engineers and project managers.
• Time Management: Efficiently managing surveying tasks and deadlines.
• Professionalism: Maintain a high level of professionalism and integrity in all interactions.
• Working experience: Possession 3 years working experience obtained in equivalent capacity.
