Job Roles and Responsibilities:
Technical Drawings:
• Create detailed and accurate CAD drawings, blueprints, and plans for road layouts, cross-sections, profiles, and construction details.
• Incorporate design elements, dimensions, and annotations into drawings.
• Drafting and Design: Utilize CAD software to draft and design road infrastructure, including intersections, signage, pavement markings, and drainage systems.
• Design Changes and Revisions: Update and revise drawings to reflect design modifications, adjustments, and feedback from engineering teams.
• Coordination with Engineers: Collaborate with civil engineers, architects, and other professionals to ensure that drawings align with engineering specifications.
Documentation:
• Maintain organized records of CAD drawings, design versions, and project documentation.
• Prepare documentation required for permitting and regulatory approvals.
Quality Control:
• Review drawings for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to design standards and project requirements.
• Identify and rectify discrepancies or errors in drawings.
• Project Visualization: Create 3D models and visualizations of road construction projects to assist in project planning and presentations.
• Communication: Effectively communicate with project teams and stakeholders, translating design intent into accurate CAD drawings.
• Collaboration: Collaborate with other departments, engineers, and project managers to understand software requirements and deliver solutions that meet their needs.
• Performs any other duty as assigned by the supervisor from time to time.

• Accuracy of Drawings: Evaluate the
precision and correctness of CAD drawings.
• Timeliness: Measure the ability to produce and update drawings within project timelines.
• Design Consistency: Assess the uniformity and consistency of design elements across drawings.
• Quality Assurance: Evaluate adherence to design standards and project specifications.
Work Experience, Skills and Knowledge:
• CAD Software Proficiency: Skill in using CAD software (such as AutoCAD, MicroStation) to create technical drawings.
• Blueprint Reading: Ability to interpret engineering designs and translate them into accurate CAD drawings.
• Attention to Detail: Precision in drafting and designing drawings with accurate dimensions and annotations.
• Technical Knowledge: Understanding of road construction terminology, materials, and methods.
• Communication: Effective communication with engineering teams and other stakeholders.
• Problem-Solving: Capability to address design challenges and incorporate feedback.
• Time Management: Efficiently manage drawing tasks within project timelines.
• Adaptability: Ability to adjust drawings based on design changes and project requirements.
• Professionalism: Maintain a high level of professionalism and integrity in all interactions.
• Working experience: Possession 8 years working experience.
