National Employment Authority Integrated Management System Principal Supply Chain Management Officer Jobs in Kenya
Duties and responsibilities
Providing input into the annual procurement and disposal plans;
Implementing the annual procurement and disposal plans;
Coordinating procurement and disposal activities;
Preparing contract documents for goods, works and services;
Liaising with the user department to ensure effective implementation of contracts for goods, works and services;
Providing secretariat to committee’s incidental to procurement of goods and services, and disposal of assets;
Overseeing periodic and annual stocktaking exercise;
Coordinating disposal of assets activities; and
Preparing draft statutory reports to PPRA.
Academic Qualifications/Professional Skills/Expertise:
Requirements for appointment to this position For appointment to this grade, a candidate must: –
Have eight (8) years relevant work experience in public or private, three (3) of which must have been at a supervisory level;
Have Bachelors Degree in Commerce, Procurement and Supplies Management, or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution;
Have Masters Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution;
Be Member of professional body either KISM or CIPS in good standing;
Proficiency in computer applications
Have a management course lasting not less than four (4) weeks from a recognized institution;
Have Demonstrated results in work performance; and
Fulfilled the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution.
