National Employment Authority Integrated Management System Manager, Employment Services Jobs in Kenya
Responsibilities Duties:
Duties and Responsibilities at this level will entail;
Undertaking the development, interpreting, implementing and reviewing of local placement & internship policies, standards and guidelines;
Coordinating and communicating available internship opportunities;
Facilitating placement of job seekers;
Ensuring facilitate regional employment office;
Ensuring periodic monitoring and evaluation of the implementation of the internship and attachment policies;
Mentoring and supervising interns, and managing programmes for internship activities; and
Undertaking capacity building for Kenyans seeking employment;
Academic Qualifications/Professional Skills/Expertise:
For appointment to this grade a candidate must have: –
A minimum period of twelve (12) years relevant work experience and at least five (5) years in a management role in comparable and relevant position;
Bachelors degree in any of the following discipline; – Labour Relations, Industrial Relations, Human Resource Management/Development/Planning, Law, Business Administration, Management and Office Administration, Management and Leadership, Economics, Sociology, Psychology, Anthropology, Statistics, Labour and Development Studies, Public Administration, International Relations or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution;
Masters degree in any of the following discipline; – Labour Relations, Industrial Relations, Human Resource Management/Development/Planning, Law, Business Administration, Management and Office Administration, Management and Leadership, Economics, Sociology, Psychology, Anthropology, Statistics, Labour and Development Studies, Public Administration, International Relations or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution;
Senior Management Course lasting not less than four (4) weeks;
Membership of a relevant professional body and in good standing
Proficiency in computer applications;
Demonstrated results in work performance;
Good communication skills,
