Breakthrough Trading Purchaser Jobs in Ethiopia
Main duties and responsibilities
Under close supervision of the Head, Supply Chain Division, the job holder performs purchasing activities based on collecting Performa invoices and other mode of purchases and delivery arrangements. Prepare list of suppliers and update same. Record purchased items in the register book.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities
Visit markets whereby to obtain the right items from the right sources at a fair price.
Receive purchase requisitions, and check its approval, its budget coverage and specification.
Collect Performa invoices on item basis from different prospective suppliers based on the purchasing manual of the Factory.
Make arrangement of stock delivery with selected suppliers.
Follow-up on the preparation of payments and effect same in due course.
Collect selected goods carefully in accordance with regularities and specifications qualified in the offer analysis.
Depends on the agreement transport items from suppliers’ warehouse to company’s store.
Ensure that items are recorded in goods receiving note before use.
Keep record of all purchases in register book.
Draw petty cash to execute petty cash purchase and settle periodically.
Assist in the maintenance and repair of fixed asset and building.
Prepare reports related to his job and submit to the supervisor.
Perform other related duties as may be assigned.
Job Requirements
Education
BA in Purchasing Management/ Marketing Management/ Business Management or other related fields
Work Experience
4 Years Related Experience
