Job Description

This role is primarily responsible for driving the integration and management of climate risk across CIB Risk, in line with CIB Risk’s broader financial ESG risk management mandate. This includes identifying and extracting synergies and driving consistency in approach and shared learnings across the global CIB footprint.

Key Responsibilities :

Develop, implement, and maintain a Climate Risk Management Framework within CIB Risk to facilitate enhanced integration of climate risk in decision-making across all risk types.

Provide climate-related risk and carbon advisory and thought leadership internally and evaluate clients’ decarbonization and transition plans.

Contribute to the development and delivery of ongoing ESG and Climate training and awareness programs within CIB and the wider Group.

Contribute to development and maintenance of robust climate risk data framework and systems to facilitate accurate and verifiable reporting and disclosure

Qualifications

Undergraduate Degree in Environment/ Engineering/Scientist (Bachelor of Sciences)

Honors Degree in Environmental Services

7 – 8 years demonstrated understanding of ESG and climate risks and mitigations as they relate to projects, transactions, and developments

5 – 7 years demonstrated understanding of Environmental and social due diligence, GHG accounting as well as carbon and climate and sustainability advisory, reporting and assurance.
