The Leadership Team Finance Manager Jobs in Uganda
Job Purpose
The primary responsibility of the Manager Finance is to oversee and manage all financial activities within Piston Medical ltd. He/she plays a crucial role in ensuring the financial health and stability of the company by providing strategic financial guidance and implementing sound financial practices.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Planning and Analysis:
• Develop and implement financial strategies, goals, and objectives in alignment with the overall business objectives.
• Prepare and analyze financial reports, budgets, and forecasts to provide accurate financial insights and recommendations to the senior management team.
• Conduct financial risk assessments and evaluate investment opportunities to support decision-making processes.
Financial Reporting and Compliance:
• Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, in accordance with applicable accounting standards.
• Oversee the internal and external audit processes, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
• Maintain a strong internal control environment to safeguard company assets and mitigate financial risks.
Cash Flow Management:
• Monitor and manage the company’s cash flow, including cash inflows and outflows, to optimize working capital and liquidity.
• Develop and implement effective cash management strategies, including forecasting, cash flow projections, and risk management techniques.
• Collaborate with other departments to streamline financial processes, improve cash flow efficiency, and reduce costs.
Financial Decision Support:
• Provide financial insights and analysis to support strategic decision-making processes, such as pricing, product development, capital
investments, and cost management.
• Conduct financial feasibility studies and ROI analysis for potential projects or investments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate business performance and identify areas for improvement.
Team Management
• Lead and manage a team by providing guidance, coaching, and performance evaluations.
• Foster a collaborative and high-performance work culture, promoting continuous learning and professional development within the finance team.
Minimum Position Qualification Requirements:
Academic & Professional

Experience

• Experience Area 2 Strong knowledge of financial principles, accounting standards, and financial analysis techniques.
• Experience Area 3 Proficiency in financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
