ANECCA Cluster Team Lead Jobs in Uganda
Key Duties & Responsibilities
Prepare annual and quarterly cluster work plan and budget and monitor the implementation of planned activities.
Implement procedures for addressing cluster programmatic, financial, and logistics needs in line with ANECCA Administrative best practises.
Maintain a competent & motivated team through giving constructive performance appraisal feedback, coaching and mentoring, in accordance with the human resources manual.
Implement cluster key activities related to HIV/AIDS/TB Prevention, Care and Treatment, roll out of all applicable guidelines in line with the MOH operational best practices.
Build the capacity of health workers and community key stakeholders in comprehensive pediatric, adolescent and adult HIV prevention, care and treatment services through trainings, mentorships and support supervision in line with Ministry of Health Guidelines
Provide technical support in rationale use of medical commodities and documentation of consumption in line with MO guidelines
Provide technical support for integration and provision of HIV prevention and reproductive health services to males an females affected and infected with HIV/AIDS.
Establish/strengthen collaboration/partnership with other key district stakeholders, district local government, health
facilities, CBOs and other community structures involved in provision of HIV related services in line ANECCA operational policies and procedures.
Implement Quality Improvement activities, operational research through development of abstracts, manuscripts and case reports and disseminate findings in journals and other fora at the District, Cluster, Regional, national and international forums for program learning and improvement in line with ANECCA-Uganda-Uganda research and quality improvement guidelines.
Periodically review and monitor programme performance of the supported districts and health facilities, identify gaps an develop action plans
Write and submit weekly, monthly and quarterly cluster reports in line with USAID LPHS ANECCA, MoH and donor reporting guidelines.
Required Education Training, Experience, other relevant skills& personality attributes
A bachelor’s degree in medicine, Nursing, or any allied health discipline and registered with applicable council
A master’s degree in Public Health or related field will be an added advantage.
At least 3 years’ experience in managing HIV/AIDS services in clinical settings to large scale HIV/AIDS HSS interventions within MoH structures and systems.
Knowledge in HIV/AIDS clinical management, including the current national guidelines for HIV prevention, care and treatment district led programming, use of quality Improvement & Collaborative approaches, implementing USG
programming policies and regulations, MoH and district procedures and practices
Experience and ability to work in hard to reach areas like Karamoja Region
Good report writing skills, research skills analytical skills, networking skills, ability to respond to tight deadlines
