Nairobi City County Deputy Director Health Administration Jobs in Kenya
Job Requirement
Be a Kenyan Citizen;
Have relevant working experience of not less than ten (10) years, three (3) years of which at of which must be in a management level or equivalent and relevant position in the public service
Be in possession of a Master’s degree in any of the following disciplines: Business Administration, Public Administration, or any other Social Science from a recognized institution, Degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, or any other Social Science
Have a Certificate in computer application skills from a recognized institution
Have demonstrated managerial, administrative and professional competence in work performance and results.
Have capacity to work under pressure to meet deadlines;
Have good interpersonal and communication skills;
Demonstrate understanding and commitment to the National Values and principles of Governance and public service; and
Satisfy the requirement of chapter six of the constitution of Kenya
Excellent negotiation and influencing skills.
Membership to relevant professional bodies an added advantage.
Job Description
Providing strategic leadership to management
Implementing, reviewing and interpreting administrative policies, strategies, procedures and programme;
Managing and supervising the general administration services; implementing public service reforms;
Management of Human Resource Records
Implementation of Human Resource Management Advisory Committee decisions;
Staff welfare.
Provide technical leadership
Responsible for overseeing completion and submission of quality technical deliverables and reports.
Advising on training Needs Assessment and training of staff at the Human Resource Management Advisory Committee
Participating in work planning, budgeting and performance management for oral health staff
Identifying gaps and challenges in the provision of oral health services in the county and offering technical advice to the county executive
Support succession planning, retention and talent management of staff
Participate in HR supervision of staff
Support development of the budget process
Any other duties as may be assigned from time to time,
