Requirements for Appointment
Be a Kenyan citizen;
Be a holder of at least a first degree from a university recognized in Kenya;
A Master’s degree in Public Administration, Public Policy, Business Administration or Development Management from a recognized Institution will be an added advantage;
Working experience of not less than ten (10) years;
Have qualifications and knowledge in administration or management; and
Must be computer literate
Duties and Responsibilities
The Director Administration shall be responsible to the respective Chief Officer for:-
Supervision of Sub County Administrators
Liaising with all Departmental Heads and Directors in the County to ensure smooth running of Government affairs
Coordinating the management and supervision of the general administrative functions;
Developing policies and plans;
Ensuring effective service delivery;
Establishing, implementing and monitoring performance management systems;
Coordinating developmental activities to empower the community;
Providing and maintaining infrastructure and facilities of public services;
Facilitating and coordinating citizen participation in the development of policies and plans and delivery of services;
Exercising any functions and powers delegated by the County Public Service Board.
Perform any other function that may be assigned from time to time by respective County Chief Officer
