Kenya Airports Authority Airport Manager – Malindi Jobs
Job Purpose
The job holder will be responsible for providing leadership for the enhancement of business growth, customer experience, safety and security of passengers and airport users in line with the international standards, recommended practices and the strategic plan.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Preparing and implementing business development plans for the airport to enhance growth in partnership with airport stakeholders;
Developing, reviewing, implementing of the airport strategic plan, developing and implementing airport objectives;
Developing, implementing and reviewing of the Airport Master Plan in consultation with airport stakeholders;
Preparing and developing monitoring budgets, recurrent and capital responsible for the financial well-being of the facility, maximizing revenue generation, collection and banking;
Managing and directing the implementation and compliance with the civil aviation standards and recommended practices in airport operations, facilitation, security and safety and other regulatory requirement;
Maintaining compliance with Airport certification requirements at all times;
Developing and implementing an airport environmental program; and
Developing, maintaining, an oversight of operations at the airport.
Key Qualifications and Experience
Bachelors degree in Engineering, Aviation studies, Social Sciences or any other business related
Minimum of eight (8) years of relevant work experience, with at least 3 years at a managerial/supervisory level
