Places you have things in common with people. Work is an obvious one. Like board games, comics, card, go to a comic book shop. You like art, take some classes. Into fitness, got up the gym or some trails.
If you have some social skills it’s not too difficult to find friends. Finding best friends and people you will be very close with can take some time but you can make friends fairly easily.
