Day in, day out, I toil away,
At a startup with hopes of one day,
Hitting it big, striking gold,
With riches and success to behold.
But the cost of this pursuit is high,
Long hours, no time to say goodbye,
To friends and family left behind,
As I chase my dream, my singular grind.
The startup life is not for the faint,
With pressure mounting, stakes so great,
But I push on, with all my might,
Hoping that one day, it’ll all be right.
For the promise of success is strong,
The lure of riches, a siren’s song,
And I keep working, day and night,
Hoping that one day, it’ll all be right.
And when the dividends finally come,
And my hard work has borne some,
I’ll be grateful for the sacrifice,
And the chance to live a better life.
But until then, I keep the faith,
Working hard, with no escape,
For the promise of success is real,
And the hope of a better life, I feel.
