In my late teens, and in the middle of the night, I pulled out an electric meter at the park we were at. Thinking back, I don’t know how that was even possible. My friend worked for the power company as a meter reader, so he likely had a key, Anyway, I tried to put it back in either upside down or sideways and the thing blew up. The power went out in the neighborhood, and I couldn’t see. I was blind. My friends had to lead me back to the truck. I regained my vision awhile later.
My dumb ass experience is often how I judge whether or not kids today are stupid. So far, I’m winning.
