On one hand, you have the appeal of getting to enjoy a nice cold beer without the aftereffects. It’s nice to be able to just kick back and relax without worrying about hangovers or getting too drunk. On the other hand, is it really beer if it doesn’t have any alcohol in it? I mean, it looks like beer, it smells like beer and if you drink enough of it, chances are you’re still going to get fairly “buzzed,” just not in a traditional way. It’s kind of like tasting a dessert that looks delicious, but it turns out it’s only made with artificial sweeteners. In the end, though, it’s nice to have the option to partake in a cold one while still keeping it light. Hey, if it’s good enough for pregnant moms and designated drivers, it’s good enough for me.
