With all the new legislation on women’s birth control rights, and all the science we have at our hands for BC innovation—why in your opinion, haven’t we invented and normalized male BC, aside from condoms?

Male birth control is a good idea, but I will say if I was someone at risk of unwanted pregnancy it would take a lot of trust to rely on a man taking birth control. Both taking his word for it that he’s taking them, and (assuming it works like female birth control pills) it’s only super effective if you’re consistent with taking it at the same time every day so you’d have to trust that the person is consistent.

also not to mention that restrictions on abortion and contraception are all about having control over women and believing that they should be punished for sin
