What do you think about avoiding your boss? Do you see any harm in it?

If you do good work and do not want to move up or anything, this is fine. Just make sure that you’re doing what you are supposed to be doing. If you want to move up in a company, I recommend doing the exact opposite. You want to be your boss’s go to person.
