What’s your funniest mis-communication with a non native speaker?

I used to work as a camp counselor in a british camp, working with german children. It was an absolutely awesome time and my favourite thing was when the kids got excited for pizza day. Because, you see, “bekommen” means “to get something” in german. And I can’t remember how many times I had children running around me chanting “I want to become a pizza!”
